Teachers Research!
Edited by Deborah Bullock and Richard Smith, published by IATEFL in September 2015.
This free e-book consists of teacher-research stories connected to multimedia website resources. Teachers often find research intimidating due to the academic way in which it is presented. This book paints a more welcoming picture, being innovative in its varied writing styles and uses of visuals, and in the use of hyperlinks to website-based video-recordings and posters. The way teachers were mentored towards publication and the teacher-friendly style of presentation serve as a model for future teacher-research publications, and as an attractive invitation to teachers to develop themselves through research.

Red arrows take you conveniently back to the Contents page at any time. There are many hyperlinks in orange throughout the book which take you to further resources, including video of presentations at the 2014 Teachers Research! Event in Harrogate which the book is based on.

Reviews
'[The book] offers minimalist yet powerful accounts of classroom experiences and
practices generated by teacher-led research. [...] [Teachers Research!] is an attractive invitation for other teachers to research their own practices for bottom-up change' - Darío Luis Banegas in Educational Action Research 24/3: 442 (2016)
'I so admire all of the teachers who not only took time out from their busy lives to reflect on their practice, but also to put this in writing so we could all see what great work they are doing and also learn from all their wonderful reflections' - Thomas S.C. Farrell in ELT Journal 70/3: 352-355 (2016)
'One of the many strengths of the volume is its practical orientation with its user-friendly design. Each article is enriched with numerous photographs from real classrooms and snapshots of outcomes. Additionally, most stories are hyperlinked to video recordings of the poster presentations. TR! is an inspiring volume which deserves the attention of everyone already involved in or planning to delve into the world of practitioner research' - Christian Ludwig in Voices (IATEFL) 251 (2016)
‘The blurb describes [Teachers Research!] as a “new kind of book for the field of English language teacher-research”, and it certainly is – not so much in content but in its format, informal style and accessibility.' - Emily Edwards in English Australia Journal 32/1.
