Teachers Research! International Online Conference

The Teachers Research! International Online Conference is an annual event organised by IATEFL ReSIG and MenTRnet which brings together teacher-researchers from a wide range of contexts globally, supporting the growing international movement of teachers as researchers and knowledge creators for themselves, their students and their schools. The conference is participant-centred, with teachers being viewed as at the centre of knowledge construction rather than the ‘receivers’ of expert knowledge. The innovative format of the conference promotes interaction among presenters and participants by allowing ample discussion time after brief poster presentations. In this way, teachers and participants are encouraged to communicate their ideas and to get and give feedback freely.

The conference participants are enabled to give separate poster presentations in parallel strands. The conference also features plenary sessions which place groups of teachers and mentors at centre-stage, encouraging overall reflection on the processes of teacher-research and teacher-research mentoring.

Join us and add your voice to this growing community of teacher-researchers!

Take a look at some highlights from the 2025 edition of the conference: Teacher Research! 2025
