ELT Research in Kenya

IATEFL Research SIG is supporting the development of KASELER (The Kenya Association of English Language Educators and Researchers), The Association was initially founded in 2012 by researchers in English Language Teaching (ELT), English Language Teacher Education (ELTE), Linguistics and English Language Communications Skills based at Moi University in Eldoret Kenya. It was later expanded to include scholars in these areas from outside Moi University and also teachers of English Language, English language teacher trainers and Education Officers. The Association has since been registered and launched officially. It held its
first conference in September 2013. The next conference is planned for October 2015. Here is a brief summary of what KASELER is about.
