This poster reported on an action research project completed by 2 ESL teachers in Australia. The aim of the research was to better understand how ESL teachers could better equip their students for an assessed academic presentation within a restricted time frame and whether or not we could do so without the use of technology. The poster outlined the methodology used and the three main problematic areas that were found with the existing teaching material. This was followed by examining how the new course material was developed and discussing the outcomes. Finally, the poster provided our reflections through teacher research.
